Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has published a revised list of 188 categories of professionals who can get visa on arrival at Doha International Airport, and are GCC residents.
The validity of the visa will be for one month and will only be issued if the person’s GCC residency permit is valid for at least six months, and the passport has at least six-month validity with a return ticket.
The visa on arrival would cost QR100 and can be extended for another three months by paying extra fees for every additional month.
Apart from doctors, engineers, and businessmen, the revised list of professionals include journalists, businesswomen, military officers, medical equipment technicians, opticians, broadcasters, marketing agents, bankers, quality monitors, teachers and lawyers.
